Performing your own bed bug heat treatment is easy! Push in the plugs...Kill the bugs! We want you to be successful and will provide all the necessary prep, heater and set-up information and we will be available for questions throughout your treatment as needed. We are friendly, highly trained, equipment certified and have dealt with bed bugs ourselves personally. Choose a heat treatment rental package based on the square footage of the treatment area, not necessarily your entire home. Consider treating one room at a time using a smaller system over multiple days (one heat treatment will typically take between 16-24 hours to properly complete). (Why Pay $1000 to a Pro?!) Does your vehicle have bed bugs? Heat treat your car or truck! Bed Bugs will typically die naturally inside hot cars during Florida's Summer Months, but you will need to heat your vehicles during cooler months. |

If you are not treating your entire home, it is best that over the counter repellent chemicals such as sprays or foggers are not used just prior to treatment. Ideally, you will use a residual pesticide or natural sprays following your heat treatment as an added layer protection.
DIY Plus Delivery: With DIY Plus Delivery package, we will deliver the system to you in an unmarked vehicle (see details below), walk you through how to plug in the equipment and be available for questions throughout the process so you can confidently kill bed bugs yourself. Experience matters! We have all kinds of tips and tricks on being successful: Fan placement, how to easily separate off sections of your home that are not being treated, the potential need to cover your windows to retain heat, etc.
Equipment Pick Up: We will agree on a specific time window for picking up the system from you. Prior to our arrival, it is expected that you have already shut everything down, wrapped all cords and placed all fans neatly by the front door. We will not shut down the system for you! In the event of an "inconvenient pick up" situation, we may need to charge an additional fee. Please be respectful of our time as we will always be respectful of yours!
Delivery Distance: The 'DIY Plus Delivery' price shown is for local delivery in Tampa Bay within a 45 minute drive from our office. Most areas of Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando Counties are typically included. Cities like Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Wesley Chapel, Spring Hill, etc. are typically considered standard delivery. Cities like Brandon, Plant City, Lakeland, Riverview, Orlando, Gainesville, Bradenton, Sarasota, Citrus County and beyond will require a reasonable additional fee- Contact us for an exact cost.

Building Structure Note: Concrete block homes require more heat than wood frame because they are more conductive of energy than drywall and wood. This means you can heat less space and/or it will take a little longer to reach target temperatures. The same is true if your space has high or vaulted ceilings, unreliable power sources, poor insulation or leaky windows. When in doubt, step up your rental package to allow for more square feet of heating! |

- Sales tax and delivery fees may apply
- Copy of driver license and credit card required
- Please keep in mind we reserve these heating systems for other customers, so those who do not show up at their appointment time could be charged a cancellation fee.
- Equipment must be returned on time. If less than three hours late, customer will be charged 50% of the "Additional Day" cost for their package. If more than three hours late, the full 24 hour "Additional Day" rental fee applies.
